Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow & The Tour!

On the 31st of March, Benefit Cosmetics launched their first and new liquid foundation, Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW. It’s make-up that brightens whilst giving a natural and luminous complexion. The oil-free formula with SPF 25PA+++, builds from light to medium coverage while feeling barely there. It also helps boost cellular respiration and prevents the signs of ageing. It comes in 9 different shades.

To support the launch of our new foundation, we have a huge roadshow that’s been travelling the length of the UK and Ireland, inviting many of our bloggers along to help promote Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow. The main stops on the tour are Glasgow, Swansea, London, Norwich, Manchester and there will even be a stint in Cork & Dublin! My boss, Jasmine, is currently heading up the roadshow with our Head Makeup & Trend Artist, Lisa Potter-Dixon, but I was lucky enough to attend the London event – the first stop on the trip!

I designed the invites for each city and group of bloggers. I sent them out and arranged the blogger attendance list, which now feels like second nature to me as this must be my 4th event I’ve helped organise, I think!

We kicked off the tour in the amazing Tower 42 with our wonderful London-based bloggers. It was brilliant; the views were just spectacular and the rooms were decorated with balloons, a massive HFOW canvas and even specially made cupcakes!

The event took an unexpected turn when I was asked to ‘model’ the foundation as part of Lisa PDs demonstration. Now I’m definitely no model, but I manned up and gave it my best! Unfortunately I really don’t photograph that well, so there are some very questionable photos of me floating around the internet now…!

It was amazing fun and I got to meet a lot of lovely people (and pull some funny poses with colleagues!). I just wish I could’ve held on to the sparkly leggings! My boss is in the middle of the roadshow at the moment but from what I’ve heard and seen, it’s so far been a MASSIVE success. The London event generated amazing buzz on the blogger’s own sites and on our Social Media. Here are some of the (many) reviews from London (one of which I especially appreciate!)

“I have to say when Lisa applied it to the model, her skin looked pretty fantastic afterwards, so I’m pretty excited to give it a go.”

The main thing that really impressed me about this foundation was that it lasted ALL day without any touch ups. I kept checking every couple of hours and my skin looked the same throughout the day. It also made my skin feel really soft and felt light and fresh, unlike many foundations I try.

The Benefit team were so lovely and so excited about the new product!

Take a look at the pictures below to see what a great time we had!
